Persuasion

Here he is, my little guy, on the couch, trying is very best to use logic and reasoning to convince me to let him play the viola.  He thinks he’s ready to start right now.  A few weeks ago it was the cello.  Then the violin, but his big sister put a cabosh on that because she didn’t want anyone playing the same instrument she plays, and convinced him that the viola would be a great choice.  “Violas are always needed!” she wisely told him.  My little guy still love percussion and everything about every percussion instrument, but he now thinks it would be good to be an expert at a few instruments, including the viola.

“I’m ready to work hard.  Everyday.  I would like practicing with you!  We could be a music team.”

He’s quite the charmer.
