First Middle School Band Concert
I do greatly love a middle school beginning band concert. All those fresh hands on unfamiliar instruments make me so very happy. This concert was especially fun because I knew a lot of kids playing, and I really enjoyed watching them.
Since one of Mr. SP’s band teachers came up and found him next to me after the concert and said, “Hey! Great job! You should get some ice cream!” to everyone’s delight, we did in fact stop at the grocery store on the way home to get Mr. SP a tub of chili (he practically missed supper because of swimming practice and the concert, and 12 year old swimming boys REALLY like food) and a carton of ice cream for the family to share.
